The components of the basic construction (see follow picture)of a DC brush motor include the stator, rotor, brushes and commutator. The interaction of the stator and rotor magnetic fields drives the motor to rotate.
Therefore, when this type of motor starts and runs, sparks are generated at the brush part, and it cannot be used in special occasions.
